Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Australis wishes to thank all of our of our Customers, Suppliers and other Partners for helping to make 2023 another successful year. We have seen a lot of business growth and continued collaboration within the Australis Group of companies, leading to greater success and better project outcomes. With a strong pipeline of work into 2024, the New Year is shaping up nicely.

2023/ 2024 Holiday Shutdown

With high workloads being driven by increasing demand for Australian made equipment, our shutdown will be shorter than most years. We will be closed on the following dates

  • Final day – Friday 22 December 2023 (skeleton staff only)
  • Reopening – Tuesday 2 January 2024 with reduced staffing. Most staff are back on 2 January 2024, although staffing levels will fluctuate during January as people take leave over the school holiday period
  • IMPORTANT: Suppliers should organise for deliveries requiring a forklift to arrive at our workshop before 3pm on Thursday 21 December.

As a celebration of the year, Australis will also be holding its staff Christmas lunch on Wednesday 13 December from 11am to 4pm. During this time we will be CLOSED and all staff will be off-site and unavailable to accept deliveries, or to take phone calls. We apologise for any inconvenience.

The rest and recharging of the batteries for our team is vital to a happy and healthy workforce, so we apologise in advance if we are unable to respond to your enquiry during our general shutdown. Senior management will periodically monitor their emails but there may be delays in responding and any non-urgent issues will be held over until the team returns in 2024.

Scheduled site work and maintenance

Despite our general shutdown, Australis does have some scheduled maintenance projects during this period. These projects are unaffected, but it does mean our office and workshop are closed. If you require further assistance during our general shutdown, please contact Australis’ nominated project manager for assistance.
