Australis have successfully delivered special purpose machinery for steel bar handling in the steel, mining and construction product industry sectors. Depending on the process required, steel bars are especially challenging to handle as they are both extremely long, relatively heavy but also have the potential to bend. When looking to bundle bars together, this can pose a challenge for the bundling process and ensuring that individual steel bars are safely and neatly tied together. Australis has designed and implemented specialist steel bar handling equipment that overcomes some of these issues and allows the steel bars to be easily handled and especially when bundling is required.
